| Re banjo, banjos have either 4 or 5 strings, this guy plays a 6 string that is really a guitar with a banjo body. So grundoon51 is correct to notice that it is played like a guitar. |

| It's a guitjo (also called banjitar) which is a cross between a guitar and a banjo. It has a guitar neck and is strung and played like a guitar, but it has the body and strings of a banjo. My husband has one (he was inspired by OCMS) and plays it all the time. |

| Can somebody who knows something comment on the banjo players style--I've seen Earl Scruggs style drop thumb and I've seen claw-hammer, but he seems to be playing it more like a guitar and strumming it--what gives? |
