| accurate in that sense, but some of the monsters are complete fabrications. As it was described they have took a true story and added a suprt natural touch in line with greek myths of the time. |

| I feel that this movie and ofcourse the novel by frank miller is one of the most accurate movies dealing with greek historic battles,at least compared to Troy and Alexander.Most of the quotes"fight in the shade","come and get them""2night we dine in hell"etc as well as the speech "Stranger, tell the Spartans that here we lie, obedient to their laws."The last was written by Simonides on an ancient monument at the site where Leonidas fell. |

Im actually cheking the trailer out to know if i shud go buy the movie on DVD(never seen it) ppl say its bad ass i seen funny fucking paradies made off of this in Spanish(Done by Cubans) where Cubans voice over the original actors and make fun of a bunch of shit and act all machista...that parady shit was really fucking halerious look up "300 el pichy films" if u understand spanish cuz Part1 is funny as fuck! |

| It would have been hilarious at the end of this trailer if they had the scene where the spartans are getting arrows down upon them where they're under the shields and it shows the guy saying " Fight in the shade LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
