| God did not author the new testament... the disciples did... they wrote about jesus and HIS word... true, Jesus was preaching God's word, but God himself did not write the book.. if he did, we would never have seen it |

Please consider the following:
- God is three persons, Father, Son and Spirit.
- God authored the Old and New testaments
- Jesus said that he came not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it
- We don't kill homosexuals today because we are no longer operating as a Theocracy; we are under a new covenant; however:
- While we don't kill homosexuals today, it still stands that God (Christ), the author of the Old and New testament, views homosexual acts unfavorably.

| Accepting someone isn't tolerance. Look it up. I can accept and respect someone but that doesn't mean I have to tolerate their beliefs, religion, culture, practices, etc. Tolerance is a misconstrued word that is used to force those who don't think alike to accept each other's beliefs, culture, practices, etc. Funny though that this acceptance only includes certain things according to societies perception of tolerance. |

| i think you are confusing tolerance with acceptance. Tolerance is what we have to show as americans, and all that means is not lynching people.
Example: i don't lynch scientologists, but i will never let one talk to me without saying that they are full of shite. |
