| Superman: The Movie was and is a piece of cinematic genius, I remember watching for the first time watching it and my jaw dropping. I laugh every time that line comes up whilst saying.

| If people don't like this movies it's becose they're all a bounch of idiots ...and I bet that all they ever respond is stupidity jokes violence and extremely fictional content of anything. | I hope one day scientists can genetically engineer our own superman lol! reeves was the best superman but routh did an awesome job! and the special effects they can put in now are phenomenal when he fly's rite through the planes wing and doesn't even flinch gets me going every time! not sure what all that crappy smallville stuff is all about tho! |

| I have to Agree that Reeves Performance was the best and he will always be Superman to his fans (I am one of them). But for better or worst we have to deal with the fact that others will play the role of Superman. Routh, I felt, did a decent job in Superman Returns; considering he had big shoes to fill. As for Tom Welling I cant really comment since I have not watched much Smallvile. |
