| exactly, mind you in this performance the audience is too polite to do that so they leave their shuffling and coughing until the rests between the movements, so the sound is still organized but not as originally intended, although music is not just about the organisation of sound but also the space between the sound. |

| well, in IB Music, "Music is organized sound with Musical Intent".
In this piece, it is considered organized because John Cage sets aside an exact amount of time for the piece. He expects the audience to be shuffling about wondering where the music is, and that is the sounds mentioned in the definition. |

| If you think "true art" should be beautiful then you clearly know nothing about art. The one thing this piece does so well is to expose all the pompous self appointed gaurdians of taste as ignorant humourless fools, no offence :) |
