| It probably is faster than the recording you have. And I have to agree, it is faster than most. It could be the old recording itself, or the fact that the conductor just took it at that speed because he just felt that it should be fast. People have their own interpretations. I played this song for an orchestra and took it about this tempo. I was on crash cymbals. Boy, what a work out! :D

| i can say the same thing:)
ive loved this music from very early on in my life. my family has always been into different genres of music... so ive been exposed to many. but i must say i found classical and opera all on my own.. when i was 8.. i was entranced by it.
im currently 14 and i still love it so much, i've finally convinced my mum to let me take violin lessons.. i am so excited.
i hope i will love this music for many years to come, it really does fill me up joy. |

| My grandmother used to play opera all the time when I was growing up, and then mother followed through so as a child I always heard it even if I did not understand the words it was amazing and beautiful. Not like the music that is played these days. This is music with class. |
