| I dont care what u guys think all i know is that they were all heroes. So what if America joined the war after the british, I mean its not a compitition all this guys faught for the same thing, they freed us all and we must remember that. |

| That is all true. Britain would have fallen during world war2 if America did'nt help us. now nobody in modern times understands how much pain and horrors these troops went through. barely anybody really cares how the soldiers felt they only care that there country won the war, which is very selfish. Even the country that they fought for does not even care. It is sickening to think that the troops in world war 2 earned no respect for the heroic and selfless things they did. |

| No one is forgetting about Britian, they held it together when no one else could. But, without America's industrial might, Britian would have fallen. America was supplying all of Britians war supplies prior to the Americans entering the war. Poland got invaded by Germany in 1939, so they were in the war from the beginning. France was invaded in 1940. So, these two countries were in the war from the very beginning, not the end. |

| Well that's true, Britain and France stood up against nazi agression in Europe from the beginning, but why do you think Churchill desperately wanted US in the war? Until 1942 Britan could only defend itself, they couldn't win the war. US with its industrial might helped both, Britain and Russia. Without US also wouldn't be any Normandy landings which played crucial role in liberating Europe. |

| I am sick fed up of whenever anybody thinks about the war it's always about the americans. The americans joined the war after Britain did. Britain was in the war from the beggining to the end along with france, canada and poland. We were the ones that were bombed every day in cities, we were the ones that fought for control of africa.Sure america were heroes in the war but all i am asking for is that people remember that Britain was the one that risked everything from the begining to hold europe |

| hav u guyz noticed that General Winters never laughs? emagine how all these guyz must feel. Running up the beach, watching ur frends die around you. so before you think, Why the hell do all these assholes even join the army and fight? Think that it was a for therew countrie, and its because of them that we are free today. They were heroes. We should give them respect. |
