| Also...Bernstein was blocked by Von Karajan (sp) from conducting the Berlin Phil. By this time the conductor had died, and it was also a triumph as Lenny, a product of anti-semestism was able to conduct this concert during the reunification of Germany, with Lenny a child of German Jewish immigrants. |
