Actually Yongy, far more tax dollars are spent on entitlements such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid than is ever spent on defense spending. | She asked for "free" health care. Is she serious, you can't get free care thats ridiculous. Mandating health care would be tragic. Would never work, look at Canada and England. Obama's plan is a load of crap it wont cost less than our current system because we will have to pay for an additional 45.8 million uninsured Americans. |

| Our government spends trillions of tax dollars for military invasions and maintaining over 700 military bases all over the world. But, God forbid that one day some of that tax money may actually get spent on American taxpayers, so we can enjoy universal health care. No, I suppose that would be too much to ask for. So in the meantime, the politicians will continue to lecture us about the virtues of private health care, while they enjoy life-time public health care funded by our tax dollars. |

| Universal plan or not, that's not the solution, more people gonna get sick for that plan.
the only way is to create a program for all people to eat healthy, so people do not have to go to the hospital
I'm 30 years old, and I've never been in a hospital because I eat healthy. |

| And finally, when you e-mail me your response you need to demonstrate in DETAIL how your plan will not break the federal budget. Keep in mind the budget-busting (and well over budget mind you) plans in MA, CT, WI, et al.
Details, not empty rhetoric and straw man arguments. I also have a host of other examples (not related to health care) of federal programs that were supposed to cost "X", but ended up being way over "X." Good luck. |
