| No, but I believe people would question the fact that Lars was playing on garbage cans, the bass was recorded by the producer, the band went from Master of Puppets kind of solos to no solos, the lyrics sound like a fucking goth's "hang myself :(" the drumming style went from metal to rock (symbol symbol snare, symbol symbol snare) and the vocals suck.
But let's check out the logic under no guitar solos, you got Kirk Hammett, one of the best guitarists in history...playing power chords, M'kay. |

| this album is so underrated. everybody's always pissing and moaning, "it doesn't have any guitar solos", so fucking what?!? if it were any other band besides metallica, nobody would question it? |
