| Culture is good when it promotes pluralism and relativism. Culture is bad when it forces on minority groups and promotes ethnocentrism. I have never seen a single society where it is the former. Not even in the so-called "melting pot" America is there any of the former. And I love how people extol the virtues of "universal" social mobility when we live in a caste system inside a class system. |
