| after you read his autobiogtraphy, it amzing he is still alive let alone producing music. But I love his early stiff, especially between John Myall to Layla, but live when Clapton is switched on he is incredible. A fantastic musician, and if I can ever play with even half the emotiveness and beauity he doees, I will be very happy. |

| You are proably right, I just love those tones he usd to get though, lke o themlive version of Sleepy tim Tim,e man that playing with that tone, the phrasing beautifully fluid and thick like honey on the ears. He gets some nice tones from the srat too, lioke i said check outmthe other two vids I mentioned where he uses a srta, beautfilu tone and playing there too. | he's alot more agressive with an SG or a Paul, like back in the old cream days...but it think for the blues tone, "blackie" was perfect here |

| I wish eric would ahve gottn out the old Sg for one last spin in this vid, still great playing, but it would have been even better with a bit of woman tone! Check out Clapton with Steve Windwowod doing Voodoo Chile and Double touble, he is even better on those vids than this one. |
