| I met a savant at summer camp once. He said he hand't known until he saw a program like this. He didn't know that he was different. When he found out he came in and told us the colors of the sounds of our names. I think my name is yellow, to him at least. |

| I remember hearing about a composer and/or musician who 'saw' music ... that is, he associated every note with a colour. I imagine that brand of synaesthesia is a lot more common than what Daniel experiences with numbers, but still interesting. Do wish I could remember the name of that musician. |

| 9:13, Personal note: When I was a little kid my mother told me not to stare into the sun. So once when I was six, I did. The doctors didn't know if my eyes would ever heal. I was terrified, alone in that darkness. Slowly daylight crept in through the bandages, and I could see, but something else had changed inside of me. That day I had my first headache. |
