| By the way: you did not refute my argument that according to the bible, there can be NO hell. If God is "LOVE" and the definition of Love in Corinthians is correct, then there can be no HELL.Period |

| Apologetics: is simply wordsmithing, misdirection, misrepresentation & smoke & mirrors. Textual Criticism proves there is no consistency within the various bible versions & that there is no original "word of god". |

| Its called apologetics. Both sides have some valid arguments however Christianity can explain those that science can't and also provides alternative reasons to scientific explanations that support atheism. If people were to simply ignore questions that question the faith we wouldn't be fulfilling why were are put here which is to worship and spread the word. You can easily deny God's love if you don't believe he is real which is the case here so that isn't a satisfactory answer for him/her. |

| CONT: So taken at face value either way you need to look at the context, the greek context in which it was originally written which can reveal more than the english language can which is why we interpret what the passage is conveying. |

| The Bible is much deeper than that. To state otherwise is silly. The Bible is filled with versus that you get more out of if interpreted correctly. Even if you were right, the English language can not truly express verse which was originally written in Greek. The word "love" is translated from 5 different types of love. This one is "Agape" which means self sacrificing. God is self sacrificing because his son (who is whole God and Man at once) died on the cross). |

And refering to this statement I made, it says that whoever loves knows God. To know God, you must have Christ. God is truest form of love, so to know the truest form of love you have to know Christ. |

| In that passage, John is saying that we should love one another and that God is our love. When we have love for one another we forgive each other of transgressions. If God loves us but you do not love him back, he does not give you that forgiveness. And to love him we have to have Christ in our lives. |
