As the person who filmed this event. I would like to say that although Andrew may appear to be a conspiracy theorist, he still was accosted by the police after Senator Kerry said he wanted to hear the question. If Accent Speakers Bureau had allowed all those standing in line to ask questions, this never would have happened. Unless of course the police would have stepped in anyway. I DO NOT KNOW ANDREW MEYER PERSONALLY. I DID NOT EDIT THIS FILM (the camera battery was low and stopped filming)

hughwade, wrong, wrong, & oh yeah, did I mention.. WRONG. You are making ignorant comments. Comments made without all of the facts. For instance, who's camera took this video? At 1:47, who is the suit that moves the mic? How did the Officers show up so quickly after the mic was cut? The Officers did NOT overreact. Do you want to know the truth or are you perfectly happy being ignorant & angry?

What? That the guy was at the mic at an open public forum expressing his opinion, and the security forces swooped in and attempted to whisk him away. I guess you're right. He certainly was a dire threat to public safety. So, it's good that the cops overreacted and got rid of this ne'er do well. I hope it happens to you the next time you're speaking up and the people in charge don't like what you're saying.

The police or security or whatever cheesy-ass, over-amped authority they were completely overreacted. If they had just let him vent, and let Kerry handle it at his own volition, the situation would've worked itself out. Someone should've jumped those bastards, but no one had any balls. And that kid definitely had balls.

Also, you're right about those laws in that they could be applied to him. People could have charged him with violently resisting arrest (If you consider raising one hand so they can't cuff it to be violence...) And you can argue that he incited a riot (Despite the fact that no riot ensued, and that CLEARLY was not his intention.) Basically what I'm saying is, the rules we have today have gotten us so far out of touch with who we really are, it's crazy. And sorry for pissing you off.

Haha. Someone hasn't had their juice today...I brought up capital punishment as an example of your way of political thinking and how wrong this is. If you view the world in terms of laws and money, you lose touch with reality. We, as people, are not SUPPOSED to have an environment like this. Where somebody can argue "Well it costs a lot of money to keep someone in prison, some we ought to fry 'em." That's how you know we've fucked up as a society.

However I am curious why you brought up punishment. Meyer was not being punished, he was being forced to comply with the Officers. They didn't tase him then say, "Ok, I think you've learned your lesson, you can go now."
