| Actually, it was class 1.1 fireworks that blew up. Apparently, the place that made the fireworks "overdid it", and so the fireworks were a bit stronger than they were supposed to be. Information courtesy of the show "Blueprints for Disaster", on Discovery Channel. |

| I just saw a documentary on this on Discovery Channel on a show called "Blueprints for Disaster". I really explained how everything happened.
Question: Has the cause of the explosion been figured out yet, after 8 years? |

| We were there, came there from Germany on that day and were playing in a youth orchestra right at that moment..First thought that grumbling was thunder. Next thing was that the constructor (!!) was the first person that rushed outside the hall.. And than all children pushed away their instruments and rushed over them outside. Thank God my and my sister`s violins stayed unbroken. |
