| when you read the play before seeing the movie you hate stanley for being such a crude, animalistic, wife beating, rapist. but I must say, it's hard to not be drawn to marlon in some way due to his beautiful appearance, however, stanley is still a horrible, disgusting character. however vunerable he may seem in this scene. his raw sexuality in in this scene proves that - hat side of him is never far away. |
