| I understand. What I don't get though is that nobody(in my grade that is) can lift that much as I can. They all get stumped at 50's and 60's and 70's it's pathetic. But then again it's a school full of little white boys with shags. |

| Push pressing? What is that again? Sorry I'm fairly new to bodybuilding and I'm only a mere 15 year old. But since you guys are familar with it,tell me if this is an accomplishment. At 15 and around 200 pounds(leg muscel and upper body muscel but abdominal section is fat) and 6'0 I deadlifted 220 pounds. Is this much? Or no? |

| mastermike008,
If you don't think high school d-backs are push-pressing 225, then you don't know the guys coached by several strength and conditioning/Olympic weightlifting coach friends of mine across the country.
225 is just not that much to push press for a properly trained teenager. In fact, most of these kids can do a lot more. When these kids were using bodybuilding workouts/programs, they couldn't do crap and got their butts kicked on the field! |

| You're missing my point, body builders have different aims than powerlifters. They train differently, diet differently, etc :)
With regards to my post being nonsense, which part? Half benching and other 'halfs' are recognised training techniques for the larger muscle groups. |
