Many tinnitus sufferers have hearing loss and if your ears are blocked with ear wax hearing people becomes a major problem because of tinnitus. It is bad enough to have to contend with the tinnitus and the hearing loss you already have without the added burden of earwax filled ears which affect your ability to hear conversations. Earwax also amplifies the tinnitus.

| i went scuba diving a couple of days ago. now my left ear is sooo sore and blocked. the more i mess with the it the sorer it gets. i put a thin stick in there and all this stinky dirt came out, don't know if its fish poo or clay like dirt. scary n hurts like hell!! |

| yeah but it happens when my ear starts feeling itcy i sratch my ear then my ear starts to get watery inside then i feel the ear wax coming out. But right now my ear feels good. |

| um i have lots of ear wax as well.. and i usually end up going to the doctor...... they use warm water as well.... but i have a ear wax removal kit with that suky thinggy and it works good.. i think it is oil as well.... water doesn't work good.. it usually makes me have a ear ache... try stuff called E.R.O it works !!! |

| I have this problem, But my doctor said water makes the ear worse, Water makes the wax swell up Making it harder for you to hear, Olive oil drops are advised to help clean the ear out 2 drops a day should work great, thats if you have problems with your ears, if not do it twice a week.
Also Removing wax with water makes your ear produce even more wax, The best thing to do is leave the wax to come out on its own.
By using the olive oil drops, Never use a cotten bud. |
