It's hard to believe we already have "spilt" atoms and then "fused" them. It's a shame we don't have that kind of intelligence to solve our other problems.

i guess its impossible to extract one single atom (unfortunately)....you will never see the electrons or protons...cause the electrons are moving with light speed and create a kind of "fog"

the electrons does cicling the core in speed of light, if they move little bit slower than it so the structur will colapse and the energy will free and will be big bang (like few TNT's)

Not being in expert I think Scanning Electron Microscopes are in black in white or grey scale. I didn't know the atoms were so tightly packed I would have thought it was empty space. I would like to see a picture of a single atom.
