Canadians are nice, but it aint utopia there is a huge gang problem in toronto they had a gang shooting in broad daylight on boxing day a few years ago that killed a bystandard. whatever, i dont care if you want you can take my place up there if you liked it too much, have fun freezing your ass off for half a year too!

Your last comment is all I was refering to. My first visit there I had to stop at phone to get directions. I was told by my friend that I was in a "bad" area. It looked like some of the best areas in the US. I felt that to be very funny. I don't know about taxes, etc. I do know how I was treated. I have been all over the US and have felt racism everywhere, I just found people from Toronto genuinely friendly. More than any country I have ever been, and I have been in approx. over 20.

I am from toronto and i moved to the Caribbean cause i got sick of paying 45% of my income to the government As a side note Toronto has become one of the worst polluted (air pollution cities) in the world Canada on a per person basis uses more energy than any country in the world (yes more than americans) a lot of the liberalism up there is a facade. Yes the nice thing there is there is very little racism up there I have indian friends, black friends etc still up there

I have many friends in Toronto, and they love it there. I found it to be the most friendly place I had been ever. I did not feel any racism that I get in my own country. I agree with your points, but I still say that our system is about exploitation, be they opportunities or people. To make excessive amounts of money you have to "use" someone or something, it is really an American way. Does not make us bad just different, that's why we need protection from over exploitation, just my opinion.

well fuck that cause i aint the government i moved from canada cause i got sick of that shit and paying 45% income tax. Yes the average person did help get us into that mess, the average american is living above his/her means negatitive savings rate compared to 30% for the chinese. Everyone played a part in that, however fear and greed is part of economies, remember part of the reason people go so leveraged is cause they knew the fed would be there to save the day.
