| His leaning is all wrong though, you don't knee-drag with your ass out and tuck your face behind the windscreen. He's losing most of his countering weight by not moving his head and chest off the bike's centerline. That means more lean angle is needed for lesser curves, slower cornering, and greater potential for losing it when you run out of tire. Great vid though, and the rider clearly has skills. He'd be even better if he'd learn to lean properly. |

| For probro22
It's called trail-braking and it's a perfectly acceptable technique. It allows you to set your cornering speed closer to the apex of the turn. It will eat up some of the traction but as long as you have some spare traction left it is perfectly safe. |
