Well. It's just show. You can find American, Chinese and European videos with maneuvers of their jet fighters.

Search Su-35BM promotional animation on youtube - you can see BVR fight and dogfight.

Yes. As i know, Russian military used old tanks, vehicles, planes and bombs. They did't used modern equipment. Reason why - Georgia was worse enemy. |

| I agree that Russia got good missiles and radars, but on YouTube when i see videos that glorify Russian Combat Aviation, the emphasis is on the plain itself and not its BVR capabilities with missiles and radars.
Also in recent war with Georgia i read in the news that Russia used old SU-25 and nots it more modern planes, can you tell me more about planes used in that war? |

Why do you think that SU and MiGS are not BVR-capable jet fighters? Russian jet fighters equiped with advanced medium and long range missiles as well. Also it possible for Sukhoi fighters to use ultra-long range AWACS-killer missile (Ks-172). Russian radars are under deep modernization too (Russian AESA and very powerful PESA radars already developed). |

| F-15 designed to fight in BVR mode that means beyond visual range, with missiles and radars.
Before Migs or SU will open attack on F-15, F-15 will fire long and medium range missiles,US and Israel got plant efficient technology.When people glorify Russian made planes,they notice their maneuvers that fit old school dog fight and not their radars or missiles. |
