(June 14)The destruction is evident following a brazen attack on a major Afghan prison...Using rockets and bombs -Taliban militants were able to blow down the front gate of the facility, freeing more than 600 inmates --- many of whom, officials say, have ties to the Taliban.The prison is in Kandahar --- Afghanistan's second largest city.At least nine police officers and eight prisoners were killed in the attack --- which was said to have included a truck bombing at the main gate, a suicide bomber at the back wall and rockets fired from outside. It lasted about half an hour.A Taliban spokesman claims 30 insurgents on motorbikes and two suicide bombers freed about 400 fellow Taliban members in the attack, which he says had been planned for two months. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

Fantasy world?
its hardly the stuff of fantasy, one man talking to another is it?
It does however prove that the war was pointless.
Invade, overthrow a government for its opinions and loyalties then negotiate giving country back to origional owners, why didnt they just not bother and save money?
U need to stop being so desperate to prove urself, its childish. |

| not true, the british government is negotiating with taliban leaders as we speak in england after flying them to safe houses near whitehall.
Taliban may surrender/ share power with afgan government, but they want mullar muhamid omar to be backed by the british, he is one of USA's most wanted. |
