| I used to think that Eric Sykes was a bit, well, bland. Kind of there, but not, if you know what I mean. However having watched his variousness over recentness, surely he is up there among them all? Especially as he is a writer as well as an actor. The more I see, the more I like! |

| I think you were probably watching the 1979 re-make as that was the only one where Deryck Guyler appeared as a milkman. Deryck Guyler did not appear at all in the original 1967 film. |

| The milkman in this 1967 film is Dermot Kelly. Derek Guyler did play the milkman in the 1979 remake.
The films were based on a TV sketch by Eric Sykes and Derek Guyler did appear in that sketch but as a policeman (not a milkman). |
