Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier-Thrilla in Manila. Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) and Smokin Joe Frazier battle it out in the third and final fight between them on Oct. 1, 1975. Muhammad Ali is defending the heavyweight title he took from George Foreman a year before, in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history. Foreman had taken the title from Joe Frazier in 1973. | LOL @ tattooed skinhead beer-keg tossing MMA fighter, there are many great athletes at mma, i cant say that about nowadays boxing, which is the most corrupted sport ive ever seen |

| In some ways - but most elite boxers would take an MMA guy. They have to have way more precision and power with their punching. Some tattooed skinhead beer-keg tossing MMA fighter wouldn't get close to a seasoned pro boxer. Go back to your Xbox 360. |

| In the days following the Thriller In Manilla Ali actually desrcibed the bout as the closest thing he had ever come to dying. He is also quaoted as having said that had Frazier came out for the 15th round, he wouldn't have. Both men were confined to hospital for several days afterwards. |
