| I have an 179 IQ, degrees from U of Washington, Stanford, Yale, & UCLA. I've attended MIT & Princeton as young as age 11, I speak 10 languages, started my own business at age 14 and made $2 million by age 18, Chess Grandmaster, wrote an Opera at age 16, and I'm an renowned artist with work hanging in the Vatican, Getty, and Metropolitan Museums... so yeah I probably don't know anything about Fords. I'm sure that you, an average 18 year old American kid "hates reading," is knows more than I do. |

| Not true, Toyota's pride and joy, the Land Cruiser rolled off the line in 1957 and it's been the best car on the market ever since. More than 98% of all TLC's ever manufactured are still drivable, no other car comes close.
The issue isn't the past, it's right now, Ford is considered one of the worst car companies in operation. They made some beautiful autos in years past, but their recent line is pathetic.
I'll never buy a Ford, Henry Ford was a member of the Nazi Party and strong Anti-Semite. |

| Toyota's aren't overrated, far from it. I currently own 42 cars, and I've owned many more, fact is the Toyota Land Cruiser is the best vehicle ever produced by anyone. TLC's have been around for 50 years, they're the most traveled vehicle on earth, they hold the most world records, and they can accomplish feats not possible by other autos. Watch Top Gear's "How to Kill a Toyota." Name another car that can thrash around in the ocean for 5hrs, then after some minor work be driving again in 30min. |

| maybe because we live in different locations, but I see more 30 year old Ford's, then I see 15 year old Toyota's. Toyota's are way to overrated. |

| look up six sigma and motorola if you want to know anything about modern quality control. Didnt see any american companies paving the way for better quality when japan was completely dedicated to it and has been ever since. |

| actually, you can say that a manufacturer has problems with quality control which goes right to the heart of their engineering and technical abilitys. Japanese companies had this very problem until the late 80s when they developed just about all of the quality controls that are currently used worldwide in production. They started the quality revolution 20 years ago, and american companies are just catching up, so yes, you can say an entire company has quality issues. |
