| I would easily agree if you define reality as what our consciousness interpret from our senses. Under such definition yes, we make our own reality and we could even set up a meditation experience or even a psychedelic one where a whole group experiences the same altered state of consciousness. However, there would still be many other "realities" out there for other people. I wonder if there is a absolute, objective reality. Being a physicist I am skeptical that quantum physics will give any clue |

| Well, I think you are misleading. One thing is accepting the quantum mechanics postulates and interpret the experimental results of such quantum experiments accordingly. Indeed the double slit experiment and many others just shows that indeed observation may promote the wavefunction collapse and alter the experimental results. This if fine, I agree. Now there is quite a universe of assumptions when going from this to saying that reality is subject to one consciousness. |

| Wow! This is not only interesting but very compelling. Ive been studying Buddhism for a little while and i have been seeing more and more of this Buddhism and science type of stuff. This film is by far one of the best films I've seen on the subject. But maybe you should fix the spelling error in the title ( i found this by spelling Buddhism wrong in the search box). And also, add more tags if you can.
Watching this film has been a mind opening experience. |
