| It's funny reading these comments. Obviously most people who watch/comment on this have a favorite team, and if it isn't the Cubs, they say "Wow Cubs fans say their nice but they're such liars. You stink Cubs lol!!!" and things like that. So what? You think they're the first fans to heckle the players? You think that that's the worst thing anyone's ever said? Chances are you're just pissed of because they're in first place. Why else would you say negative stuff? |

| And Sosa left that team in disgust because the Cubs even with the millions and millions of dollars they had didn't want to cover up the scandal. After all poor Sammy Sosa did for that shitty franchise the Cubs couldn't even cover up the fact that they've been cheating year after year.
And you know what's sad? That simply means the Cubs can't even win when they cheat. What a pitiful fuckin' ballclub. I would be so ashamed if I was a Cubs fan. |

| And how do you explain a guy (Sammy Sosa) that bats in 36 homeruns than pretty much doubles his homeruns the next year? It's not like Sammy Sosa exploded on steroids the year he was with the Cubs.
How do you explain a guy that then bats, 63, 50, (64!), then 49 homeruns per year in succession?
It's easily explained, it's been documented not only in literature but also video.
He was being supplied a cork bat those entire seasons until finally the MLB decided to confiscate Sosa's bats. |
