| The question always is whether there is a net surplus of jobs which strengthens the economy as a whole and allows Canada to compete in the global market place. Don't forget that the same thing happened with the Canada/USA Free Trade agreement. Canada did lose jobs and that was to be expected, however there was a net surplus. Canada also placed first TEN times in the highest standard of living in the world category, the most of any country ever since Free Trade with USA! |

| Yeah your right!We In Canada & USA should ignore the largest migration in history of 250 million Chinese to new cities in China which offers North Americans enormous economic opportunity as evidenced by the tens of billions being invested in infrastructure to accommodate this growth. And why, as I saw in New Orleans at the last one while standing at the barricade placed 4 blocks away from the meeting, there are corporate "leaders", read bitches, who are acting as consultants to facilitate their idea of "free trade". |

Nearly half (49 percent) say NAFTA made their business more competitive, while only 10 percent say it hurt their business. The remaining 41 percent say it did not affect them one way or the other. Canada has benefited enormously by being ranked 9 times as the highest standard of living in the world in the past 20 years since free trade! |

| This ridiculous argument was bandied about 20 years ago bout Canada losing its sovereignty to the USA & a cultural collapse was coming & all the usual fear tactics from ignorant whiners!Consider this,Canada's GDP from exports doubled from 25% to 50% thanks to Free Trade!Canada also had the highest standard of living in the world 9 times since Free Trade 1988!Since NAFTA the USA has had a 2% decrease in average annual unemployment!
