| Wow that was deep. Maybe you should ask a former Soviet if they think they were free. I'm from Alaska where there are many Russians, and all of them were happy to see the Soviet Union fall. Living in America you have the freedom to leave this country and live anywhere in the world. If you were a Soviet and attempted to leave your country, you were considered to be a defector which was punishable by death. Does that sound like freedom to you? We also have the freedom of speech and press. |

Idiot, there never was any real Communism in this world, not even in the USSR itself, it was Stalinism and leninism, they misused the word "Communism".
And why you talk about the USA? This is the ex-russian anthem, not the US one, so stop your patriotic shit, okay?
This is the most sweeping and impressive anthem of the world. And i hope somehow the imperialistic states realize their own faults and how many people suffer in this world. |

The Soviet Union had a very interesting definition of freedom.
Still though, this is one of the most beautiful and dramatic anthems in the world. |

| yet the melody is great all through its length. first i searched one without choir, till i stopped here and recognized how impressive a good one really is. just amazing. |

| The Dutch anthem has 16 verses, but because it takes over 15 minutes to sing the long version, only the first and six verse are sung.
But there are longer anthems, usually only a few verses are sung (Romanian anthem is longer as this as well) |
