| If he was refusing to stand up, why couldn't the cops just drag him out, or pick him up off the floor and carry him out? There were several cops there. They could have forcibly removed him from the building without tasering him I would think.... |

| Bullshit. Have you seen those videos where the guy complied and was tasered anyway? Robert Dziekański was killed by the police. He did not resist arrest. And the most despicable thing was that the police even tried to cover it up. |

| the days of when cops solved things with their fists ended when all the police brutality claims started arising. tasers are actually a great thing for cops, the only thing they do is hurt like crazy for a few seconds. keep in mind too that the cops themselves have been tazed at LEAST once to even be certified to carry. |

that is not what is happening in these videos.
majority of the time ppl are overreacting and not cooperating with cops. You are going to have to comply, taser or not. So if you just comply, you will save yourself a lot of pain and, if you are innocent, you will get out of jail soon enough, but you will only prelong your stay if you "resist arrest." |
