| This mantra is called "Daimoku" that means "title" (of the Lotus Sutra). Nichiren, Father of the Daimoku chanting practice, devoted his life to preach & propagate the Lotus Sutra. |

MyoHo Renge Kyo means "Sutra of the Lotus Flower of the Wonderful Dharma". It is the title of one of the last Sutras taught by Shakyamuni Buddha. On it, He preaches that all living beings have the Buddha Nature, basic principle that enables them to reach Enlightment. In the 16th Cap. Shakyamuni reveals himself as the Original and Eternal Buddha. |

Please check back to the first comments made to me regarding this issue of 'kyo' and you will see that it was not me who started all this example of indignity towards the LAW.
