| It's also absurd to call Democrats "zombies." Zombies are single-minded and steadfast in their determined search for, in the zombies' case, brains. Democrats, as history has shown, are very undisciplined. Lots of voices, reflecting the party's diversity. Consensus is a rare word on many topics. Achieving that is like herding cats.
So, to be more accurate considering the modern makeup of the two parties, Republicans are the zombies, only dumber ;) |

| modern Republicans only see the world as black or white. They also have a fundamental ignorance on what "appeasement" is and means. This essentially precludes them from any sort of progress because they see ANY form of bargaining as giving away safety, security, prosperity, whatever. And they are always wrong. If it weren't for those pesky things like rules, laws, and morals, they would just exterminate anyone they disagree with. Dubious tactic, yes, but don't think that isn't what they want. |
