And I'm saying you:be funny also. This will make you happy and make you live longer.Just watch at them and on other vids. The effect is much stronger than of the Yoga itself.

Yes...and I find myself doing the same thing over and over again when I watch it.

this is purely just to get guys to watch the girls, they just do the same thing over and over again

I find the changing background distracting...otherwise I like it.

The answers to those questions are: 1-The knees are 2 fist-widths apart. 2-The knees are directly below the hips. 3-The feet are directly behind the knees. 4-The hands should be directly under the shoulders, and then stepped up one hand length, with middle fingers facing forward & fingers spread. I don't know that all of these details would be apparent to someone that bought this as their first yoga instruction. At the very least, it should be supplemented with another DVD, or live class!!

Personally, I feel that Namaste is too advanced for a yoga beginner. Not necessarily that the poses are too challenging (though sometimes they are) but that there is too much pre-supposition of form. Example: 2:30, when they move into cat pose. How far apart should the knees be? Should the knees be under the hips? Should the feet be directly behind the knees? Or closer together? Where should the hands be? Directly under the shoulders? None of this is addressed in Namaste.

I've read through a lot of the comments here, some are really quite funny. I'm going to be for a moment serious.....I've just started out learning how to do Yoga and have naturally come accross lots of good and bad examples to follow. I do believe I'm doing some of the exercised correctly. I know I have a long way to go in learning. I already feel the positive benefits. I'm 50, am an avid biker (100 km pro week) but also notice that my body is getting stiff. Yoga makes it feel much younger
