| Punk groups like G.B.H. had lively and wild energy. DRI, Circle Jerks, Cro Mags, ect were so damaged. It was like how much lower can you go? How much lower could a band have gone then the hardcore punk bands? The answer is nobody was as low. |

| 1. Overkill made the first demo in 1983 and it was a Speed Metal demo. And first Metal Church's demo isn't full-thrash metal
2. Demos are not full-lenghts
3. Metallica made the first demo in 1982
4. If you want to mention another band that can challenge with Metallica's scepter of the first Thrash Metal band in the US side, that band is Exodus. |
