| You're right, Gary does Not value technical mastery over sheer feeling, and this by his own admission. Thank goodness this is so. Guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen make me feel like a diner in a fine restaurant who leaves the table still hungering for something more substantial than what was served. |

| gary has never been nor will be one ofthe most technical guitarists, but man can he make the guitar cry! and that will always be better than all the technical tricks you can pull out of your hat. and as ive said in other places music is musci b'cos of what it does to the emotions not technicality or speed or other such bullshit. btw phil lynot had great voice/prescence on stage |

| I guess Gary hasnt had the volume of work that those guys have.. its always a matter of opinion.. most people that would argue for Gary would be for the standard of his playing not the number of albums he wrote. If you search Gary Moore Red House you'll see where he stole the show over some of the greatest guitarists in history all on stage together in one show...... |
