| We are not the freest country in the world. That would be Estonia. This big Bailout Bill that just got passed should be proof of what a fascist society we've become. Things are going to keep getting worse until there is a major recession and most of America is jobless. Hopefully at that point people will come to their senses and push this administrative system out.
I'm so sick of the flag-waving, 'patriotic' Americans that think this country is just as free as it was in 1776. It's not. |

| Another misconception that They (you know, the Bad Guys, Inc) like promoting is that this country is really free and we ought to just be glad we have as many liberties as we do. Ever read the book 'Animal Farm'? Excellent example of how societies are imprisoned by their governments. The government is supposed to work for the People, not the other way around. Until 'We the People' understand THAT, we will always be slaves. |

| The US government is "giving" us freedom of speech? Does anyone else see something wrong with that statement? Freedom of speech is supposed to be a 'God-given', unalienable right, and the Constitution is merely saying that the government has no right to stick its nose into this piece of people's business. The government is not an ethically-based organization. It is a rabid pit bull (most often) that must be restrained. That's why we have a Bill of Rights, etc. It's not as you seem to see it... |
