| Thank you so much for your help. He's one of my favorite singers. I tried to find him in Fiddler and I couldn't! But Carlozandre was kind enough to point him out to me:) If you've ever seen the Robert Blake version of Of Mice and Men, you'll be amazed at the wife-abusing Ted Neely. It was weird. But I love him so much. He is brilliant, and you are 100% right. the best performer in the role by far, IMO. You can feel the emotion of what those events must have been like through his voice. |

| You are so awesome! I know that scene! I am embarrassed to say I was squinting at the men in 'To Life' and the men that gather around Tevye when he brings his milk to town.... and I couldn't figure it out. I'm going to watch it again. Thank you so much for your help! :) |

| He plays Mendel, one of the secondary jewish characthers in the village. Mendel is the man in the marriage party scene who comments, outraged, that the student Perchik cross the line between men and women and takes one of the milkman daughters to dance. |

| Actually I haven't seen the film myself, but I came across one video here and he in fact had only one or two lines. I believe, the song is called "Anatevka" and hec character's name is... Mendel, I think.
Yes, I imagine how strange it must be to see Neeley play some negative character. For me he will also be the best Jesus, maybe not only the best in this rock-opera, but probably even the best performer of this role. |

| Can you tell me who he was in Fiddler on the Roof??? I can't believe I'm so dense I never noticed he was in it, lol... To my credit, I did realize Ted Neely was the antagonist in Of Mice and Men; that was slightly odd to watch... I think he's the best 'Jesus' for this musical, so I can't see him as anything else! :D I hope Dennen's role was good-natured... |
