| The Americans did a better job with making a disturbing video, but the Japanese had much more disturbing and unpleasant sound effects. When the towel headed man came onscreen that sound was horrible, like a metal mosquito. But the only scare factor in this one is the towel headed man and the moving words that crawls across the page like bugs. |

| American horror films have given a lot of good, gory stuff but the eerie feelings and suspense of Japanese horror films I love the most |

| i like the american one better, only because it's scarier.... but this one is much more disturbing and realistic to what it would probably be. |
